One of today’s #HCSco2020 Senior Spotlights is Connor Thornburg, a senior at East Hamilton High School. Connor is a student-athlete who has played on the varsity football, baseball, and wrestling teams. He received multiple offers to play football and baseball at the collegiate level. He is also a member of Young Life, FCA, the National honor Society, and the leadership class.
“He is always willing to step up and help East Hamilton and the community,” said Lindsay Donahue, one of Connor’s teachers. “He went to local elementary schools to speak to students about academic success with other members of the football team, and whenever we needed help with anything, Conner was there. He is truly leaving a hole at East Hamilton.”
After graduation, Connor plans to attend Birmingham Southern on a football scholarship and will major in pre-health studies.
