Ashton Mayo-Beavers, CCA

One of today’s #HCSco2020 Senior Spotlights is Ashton Mayo-Beavers, a senior at Chattanooga High School Center for Creative Arts. Ashton is an excellent student who has maintained a 3.96 GPA and earned more than $96,000 in merit and scholarship awards. She’s been active in her community and is a member of the YMCA Leaders Club, Zeta Phi Beta Archonette Club, Girls Inc., IMPACT Group, National Honor Society, National Dance Honor Society, the Project Motion Dance Company with CCA, and interned with the United Way. Ashton has been asked to sit on several state and national panels for Girls Inc., PEF, and recognized for the Chalkboard publication discussing education and COVID-10. Her senior project was based on an app she created called Cultural DNA and Technology.


After graduation, Ashton will attend Mercer University to major in computer science.
