Today’s #HCSco2020 Senior Spotlight is Lily Whitt, a senior at Sale Creek Middle High School. Lily is a student full of perseverance. Despite having an autoimmune disorder and a father who deployed to Iraq twice, she has never wavered in her academics. She spent summers and winter breaks taking more classes so she could be a senior this year.
“She wants to continue her education in the medical field,” said Stefanie Whitt, one of Lily’s family members. “Even during this pandemic we are facing, Lily’s career choice hasn’t changed. I’m so proud of her!”
After graduation, Lily will attend Chattanooga State and the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga.
